Edinburgh Tours Departure Point:
All of our tours from Edinburgh depart from the bus stop right outside the 'Deacon's House Cafe', on the Lawnmarket, Royal Mile. It's located between St. Giles Cathedral, and Edinburgh Castle, so is really easy to find, even if you've just arrived in the city. Look out for the statue of David Hume, the red British telephone boxes, and the lifelike statue of 'Deacon Brodie' himself right outside the Cafe. It's just up from the 'Bank of Scotland' at the corner of George IV Bridge and the Royal Mile. There is a map showing this departure point below.
Please note that the Loch Ness, Highlands & Whisky Tour departs this location at 7:50am SHARP, so please plan to be here NO LATER THAN 7:45am, otherwise you will miss the tour, and will be liable for the full tour fee. For the 'Free Highlands Tour', we depart this location at 8:45am, check-in is from 8.30am onwards. Please note that if you are not there by 8:40am, your booking may be forfeited, and your seat/s given to other waiting guests.
